A influência fregeana na filosofia da arte de Arthur Danto

The present study aims to recognize the influence of Gottlob Frege on Arthur C. Danto’s philosophy of art. We start from the assumption that some of the main theoretical solutions found by Danto are based and inspired on Fregean semantics. Then, we analyzed the corpus in Danto’s philosophy of art and mapped the most characteristic passages of the observed phenomenon, correlating with some excerpts from Frege’s work.
