Arquitetura reflexiva entre expressão e desenho na estética de Kant

This paper aims to present and explore in which way beautiful or reflexive architecture, as thought by Immanuel Kant, includes a critique of the Vitruvian tradition. Starting from Paul Guyer’s interpretations (1977, 2011) about the meaning of expression and the historical role played by Kant inside the philosophy of architecture, we will try to add to this discussion the theoretical importance of the architectural project (design), intending to understand at greater length the reflexive architecture.
