AS OBJEÇÕES E RESPOSTAS COMO TRUNFO PARA A DATAÇÃO DA RECHERCHE DE LA VÉRITÉ DE DESCARTES

The aim of this article is to draw attention to the relations between the dialogue The Search for Truth by means of the Natural Light and the Objections raised against Descartes’s Meditations and his Replies to them. The main hypothesis is that The Search for Truth was influenced by the Objections and Replies and therefore that, contrary to what has been claimed recently, this work was written at a much later stage in Descartes’s life.
