Benjamin e a imagem proustiana

This article proposes to offer some indications about the effects of reading Proust’s work in the context of the wide and sparse theming by Benjamin of the problematic of the image in its correlation with topics related to language, writing and history. Therefore it was given special attention to some of the formulations of the essay “The Image of Proust”, mainly because in this essay of the end of the 1920’s the considerations about the role of image in Proust’s work articulate the drafts of a theory of image with the Benjaminian literary criticism and with the literary-philosophical project of the materialistic historiography of the 1930’s.
