Marxist's philosophical view of human nature and how to apply that perspective in the development of high-quality human resources in Vietnam today is analyzed based on dialectical materialist methodology and historical materialism, focusing on human nature and the concept of human nature as the total of social relations; challenges and opportunities for human resource development in the context of promoting industrialization, modernization, and international integration; suggested solutions to build a comprehensive and sustainable human resource strategy. The results show that it is necessary to associate human development with the socio-economic development process, uphold the role of the subject of workers, strengthen education and training in combination with reasonable management and welfare mechanisms, and encourage the creativity and initiative of human resources, thereby, Vietnam can improve the quality of labor, meet the requirements of integration and enhance national competitiveness.
