Dialética entre os sentidos positivo e negativo da dessacralização da arte

Assimilating Adorno’s dialectical view on Benjamin’s theme of the loss of aura, thought as an “evolutionary tendency” of the de-artification of art, but also as a tendency to turn art into cultural industry, when managed a-dialectically, this paper intends to analyses the consequences of the desacralization of art. The aim is to indicate the positive counterpart linked to the loss of authenticity and cult value in art, taking into account the presence of the concepts of “mimesis” and “game” in the second version of The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction and to examine some possible consequences of these desacralizing effects in the sociopolitical field.
