Disposições morais e a fundamentação da moralidade a partir da perspectiva contratualista

This paper aims at clarifying the concept of moral dispositionsfrom a contractarian perspective. I have in mind the kind of moral theoryadvanced by David Gauthier. My intention is to show that the thesisaccording to which it would be rational, for the sake of self-interest, to“choose” being moved by a sense of justice must be construed in termsof the rationality of a choice for the creation and support of the institutionswhich are at the root of our moral dispositions.
