Do modernismo aos anos 60:: resistência e criação

An analysis of the relations between art and culture during the process of modernization in Brazil from 1920 to 1960; a reflection on projects and productions which aimed to articulate modernity and social transformation. It is emphasized the intensification of issues and processes which were disclosed by the artistic and cultural activity raised from the connections between elements of popular culture and experimentalism in the fields of avant-garde and cultural criticism.
