Escatologia à la cantonade. Althusser para além de Derrida

The author establishes a comparison between Althusser and Derrida from the question of temporality, by means of the reading of Marx sub specie theatri proposed by both. From this emerges a theory of temporality in Althusser that is beyond the teleology of Hegelian-Marxist tradition, as well as the messianism without the messiah proposed by Derrida in his reading of Marx Benjamin. In this sense, eschatology in Althusser is only thinkable à la cantonade.
