This paper deals with the relationship among Humanities, Social and Human Sciences and Philosophy, in the light of Classical Humanities epistemic and pedagogical projects, having Italian Renaissance and Studia Humanitatis as a driving force, with Philosophy as a pilot-discipline. When making the transition to modernity, with the rise of Social and Human Sciences and the overthrow of Philosophy, there will be a collapse of pedagogical and epistemic projects of Renaissance Studia, in the context of a hard-disciplinary culture, resulting the ultrafragmentation of knowlwdge, carried out without any unification perspectives. The outcome is the epistemological malaise, which carries the idea of a loss of relevance to Philosophy, by being put aside of pedagogical and epistemic processes of sciences. And, at the same time, put aside of scientific disciplines themselves, blocked – by the ultrafragmentation – from giving us a unified vision of mankind and surrounding human reality. Such a situation will lead to questioning of the possibility of relaunching of pedagogical and epistemic projects of Classical Humanities, aiming at overcomimg the epistemological malaise and the syndrome of Philosophy and Empirical Human Sciences irrelevance. However, such relaunching can-not consist of a return to the Studia or in a pure and simple resumption, but it shoud give place in new scientific and philosophical backgrounds, carried out on interdisciplinary bases, not any more holistics, with Philosophy as a pilot-discipline, as in the Renaissance. In this scenario, Brazil will be taken into account and a proposal will be presented, in accordance with our academic context and our national reality nowadays.
