Interesse e verdade:: neoliberalismo e mentira

In the period preceding the global financial crisis of 2008 all central economic agents involved in the crisis denied with all present forces - theoretical, political and media - the reality that produced the crisis. However, some voices from the late 1990s, pointing with force and precision an imminently recessionary crisis that would have global impact. The agents refused to reality deepened the crisis, and the story ran here as a paradox, operating a typical defense mechanism of perversion, denial of reality that was not the imaginary and symbolic fetish object. The management of the large market of the world economy starts to require a process of unconscious analysis, because, as Marx said, “they don´t know what they do, but they do it anyway.”
