Lélia Gonzalez: intérprete da formação social do Brasil

This paper follows some important arguments presented in the work of Lélia Gonzalez in order to propose an original perspective as interpreter of the social formation of Brazil. Thus, an analytical path is suggested that translates some of her theoretical connections and speculative interests. Marxism, social-historical theory and psychoanalysis are structural axes of Gonzalez’s thought, by which it is possible to put in evidence the contributions of this intelectual to the social formation of Brazil as an open field of studies.
