Louis-Auguste Blanqui e o século XIX:: uma história política do céu

The Eternity According to the Stars by Blanqui, that Walter Benjamin rediscovers at the end of the 30ies and inserts in the frames of his Parisian Arcades project, belongs in some way to the prison’s writing tradition of “consolation of philosophy”. Condemned two times to death and to perpetual prison and one time to exile during the years of Revolution in Paris in 1830, 1848 and 1871, Blanqui spend half of his life in prison. Being an important conspirator against monarchy, bourgeoisie, clergy and freemasonry, he surprises writing a work on poetical astronomy and existential philosophy in his last prison in Fort de Taureau.
