Maquiavel e a importância da fortuna no agir político

Resumo: Este artigo tem o propósito de analisar qual é o lugar da fortuna no pensamento político de Nicolau Maquiavel. Veremos como é fundamental àquele que aspira a vida política, sob o prisma maquiavélico, não só ter a virtù (capacidade de ação), mas também saber trabalhar com os momentos, circunstâncias e contingências, isto é, a fortuna. Maquiavel and the importance of fortune in political action Abstract: This article aims to analyze the place of fortune in Nicolau Machiavelli's political thinking. We will see how fundamental it is to those who aspire to political life, under the Machiavellian prism, not only to have the virtù (capacity for action), but also to know how to work with moments, circumstances and contingencies, that is, fortune.
