O campo biopolítico: sobre o liame entre a vida e a política em Giorgio Agamben

Resumo: Sob a perspectiva de Giorgio Agamben, no escopo das reflexões acerca da política moderna encontra-se o entrelaçamento entre a política e a vida nua. O pensador destaca que esse período histórico traz à tona a configuração política da vida biológica, a qual reporta ao fato de o poder político incidir sobre a zoé. Nesse contexto, Agamben analisa a formação dos Estados totalitários e a construção do campo de concentração. Com efeito, a preponderância da vida biológica nos Estados totalitários do século XX, representa a tomada da zoé como critério político e desígnio das decisões soberanas. O que está em questão é o entendimento de que na modernidade, o vínculo entre a esfera da vida natural e o novo sentido da política corroborou para o desenvolvimento dos campos de concentração. Considerando o pensamento político agambeniano, o presente artigo objetiva apresentar uma reflexão no que tange ao cerne do conflito político moderno, a saber, a vida nua e o significado do campo de concentração. Palavras-chave: Biopolítica; Campo de Concentração; Modernidade; Zoé The biopolitical camp: about the link between life and politics in Giorgio Agamben Abstract: According to the perspective of the Giorgio Agamben, in the scope of reflections on modern politics is the intertwining between politics and bare life. The thinker emphasizes that this historic period brings to light the political configuration of biological life, that is, the fact that political power reflects on the zoé. In this context, Agamben analyzes the formation of totalitarian states and the construction of concentration camps. Indeed, the preponderance of biological life in totalitarian states of the twentieth-century represents the adoption of zoé as politic criterion and purpose of sovereign decisions. What is at issue is the understanding that in modern times the link between the sphere of natural life and the new political meaning collaborated for the development of concentration camps. Considering the Agamben's political thought, the objective of this article is to present a reflection as regards the kernel of modern political conflict, that is, the bare life and the meaning of concentration camp.
