O Nietzsche aristofanesco de O nascimento da tragédia

Tthis paper analyses crucial aspects of the influence fulfilled by Nietzsche’s readings of Aristophanes’ works, specially The frogs and The clouds, in the writing of The birth of tragedy, first work published by Nietzsche. From this point of view, it pretends to outline how far Nietzsche embraces the critical attitude of the ancient Greek writer in his interpretation of the ancient Greeks, specially Euripides and Socrates, and how far the philosopher brings new approaches for his text, making it original not only in relation to the ancient Greek writer at hand, but also to his contemporaries.
