The two volumes of A nervura do real constitute Marilena Chaui's main contribution to the interpretation of Spinoza's philosophy and serve as the central axis of a 50-year journey of study of this philosopher. This paper aims to present two of the interpretative innovations of that book, namely, the construction of the historical image of Spinozism and the notion of aptitude for simultaneous multiplicity (plura simul).
