Sobre la idea de historia en Walter Benjamin

The present paper discusses the idea of history in Walter Benjamin. The aim intended is double: on the one hand, to develop the critiques directed by the author at the dominant ways of mentioning the relation between knowledge and past; on the other hand, it seeks to assemble those notions that can contribute to the establishment of a dialectical and materialistic concept of the history. In this framework, significant notions such as temporality, end, and happiness assume a central role.
