Dar-se uma vida: autobiografia como metodologia filosófica no jovem Nietzsche

At the carrefour between the stylistic dimension and the positivecontent of the philosophical thesis in his works, autobiography risesas the device according to which both of them are reunite, becomingindissociable. This procedure is obvious in texts like Ecce Homo, but it isalready present in older works, like the autobiographical essays from hissecondary school time. The analysis of how, at this point, the problem ofthe writing of oneself as a political-philosophical practice comes up, canlead us to propose a coherent strategical principle to the reading ofNietzsche’s writings as “work”.
