O CONCEITO DE JUSTIÇA DE MARILENA CHAUI

Marilena Chauí produced between 1977 and 1982 a series of texts on Political Philosophy that can be considered the starting point for a long and still active career of socialist enquiries about democracy, freedom and, not least, justice. Her philosophy provides a critique of the liberal theories of the state, of our genuinely Brazilian authoritarianism, of the enemies of the working class then dedicated to political self-assertion. Alongside the Chauian critique of liberal justice, however, I think it is the case of identifying a proper concept of Justice in Chauí’s work.
